This is a new one to me, somehow missed this. Anyway the N85 from Nokia have been confirmed by the FCC and when available in the US will be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE with support for 3G data speeds in the 850Mhz, 1900Mhz, and 2100Mhz frequency bands, ensuring that the handset can not only work almost anywhere in the world.
The phone will come with a 5 megapixel camera a lens cover to prevent dust, WiFi, a smaller display then the N96 and will run S60 3rd edition.
I’m not to sure as to price on this yet but it looks as if Nokia are aiming this toward the top end of the N-series range but maybe just priced under the N96. Now that the FCC have approved it I’m sure some demos will pop-up over the coming weeks and months so we can get some better reviews.
